The event took place on 11 February, 2021 online. It was organized by the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, AES Bulgaria, ContourGlobal, and under the patronage of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Mariyana Nikolova.
The conference was organized in 4 panel sessions:
Panel 1: Legal and Regulatory Regimes for Cyber Security of Energy Systems
Panel 2: Concepts and technologies for Cyber Security in power generation plants, electrical and gas transport networks, control and telecommunication systems
Panel 3: Concepts and technologies for Cyber Security in electrical and gas distribution systems and energy exchanges (IBEX)
Panel 4: Innovations, Smart Grids and Cyber Security.
Representatives from the AES Bulgaria, CEZ Electro Bulgaria, Cyberacademy, Sofia, Electricity System Operator EAD, ENERGO-PRO, EVN, European Union Agency for Cybersecurity, Honeywell, Military Academy, Mini Maritsa Iztok EAD, Westinghouse Bulgaria presented and discussed the legal framework, practices, concepts and technologies for cyber security at EU and also at companies’ level.
