Interregional workshop to share technical & legislative knowledge on smart grids and launch the STRIDE Danube Region Smart Energy Platform
Open to all interested parties involved in the energy sector or have influence in energy policy, the STRIDE Mid-Term communication event is an opportunity to join us at the STRIDE Interregional Workshop and launch of the STRIDE Smart Energy Platform. Through the STRIDE interregional workshop, participants will gain additional knowledge on smart grids from the technical point of view to legislative point of view. Also to be presented at the STRIDE Mid Term Dissemination Event is the STRIDE platform, which creates a network of experts, policy makers, and other relevant actors to boost the development of smart grids throughout the Danube Region.
The Interreg Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) STRIDE project provides knowledge transfer, develops planning tools, creating a comprehensive support structure for local/regional policy makers for the improvement of energy planning. The STRIDE project improves energy planning through the Integration of Smart Grid concepts in the Danube Region. STRIDE is currently undertaking regional analyses and developing strategies, action plans and tools, enabling the acceleration, integration and replication of smart grids into local/regional policies.
