Join the STRIDE smart energy platform

The open-source STRIDE Smart Energy Platform, now live and open to all interested parties, serves as a network of experts, policy makers, and other stakeholders from all target groups and therefore build capacity for the STRIDE project.

Since the start of 2022, the transnational STRIDE consortium has dedicated their efforts toward the planning and delivery of the STRIDE Smart Grids Trainings, which are made freely available to members of the STRIDE Smart Energy Platform. The purpose of the STRIDE trainings, to be held at least twice in each partner region, is to provide public officers and other relevant local target groups with knowledge on energy planning in order to build capacity for the future smart grid policy developments on the local, regional and national level. the STRIDE platform.

In addition to providing registered members with tools and resources for the improvement of energy planning, the STRIDE digital platform creates a network of experts, policymakers, and other relevant actors to boost the development of smart grids throughout the Danube Region – allowing the impact of STRIDE to extend well beyond the official project end in November 2022.

The open-source platform is well-stocked with training materials, good practices, reports for all interested and partners, involving members from the whole Danube Region. The platform also allows members to exchange ideas, experiences, and knowledge of the smart grids-related topics and share them with the public.

The Interreg Danube Transnational Programme STRIDE Project is co-funded by the European Union funds (ERDF, IPA, ENI), allowing this significant project result to be open-source in the effort to stimulate the implementation of smart grid policies and solutions across the Danube Region and beyond.
