The transnational STRIDE project (Improved energy planning through the Integration of Smart Grid concepts in the Danube Region), co-financed with funds from the Interreg Danube Transnational Programme (DTP), aims to provide comprehensive support to local/regional decision makers in improving energy planning through knowledge transfer and the development of planning tools.

Some of the main objectives of this transnational project include regional analyses, developed strategies, action plans and other tools (e.g., methodologies, guidance, web platform) that will enable and accelerate the integration of smart grid concepts into local and regional policies across the Danube Region.

The aim of this regional workshop, hosted by Austrian STRIDE project partner, ConPlusUltra on the premises of BEST – Bioenergy and Sustainable Technologies, is to present the results of the project as well as some current project examples from the smart grid environment – in addition to offering an exchange of experiences between cities/municipalities, companies and regional actors – in Lower Austria.

The event will be held in the local language of German.
